Motherhood:
The most important job.
The fastest season.

One day they fit in your arms.
The next they don’t want to hold your hand.
And somehow both happened in the blink of an eye.

This is the main reason we take the photos.
Not for perfect hair or matching outfits.
But so you can remember the weight of them,
the sound of them, and the way your whole world could fit in your arms.

Can you remember that feeling as a kid when you would spend the day with a friend? It was like nothing else mattered in the world. You never wanted the day to come to an end.

Children really are our greatest teachers when it comes to happiness. Living life in the moment and truly enjoying life’s simple pleasures.

Oh what I would give to relive those days but I feel so blessed to be able to witness my own children experience the same joy.

If I had to sum up the beach during Winter I think I’d use the words ‘peaceful’ and ‘awakening.’Peaceful in the sense that you can have so much beautiful space all to yourself and awakening when you feel that fresh sea breeze hit your face.

I think I may have convinced myself this year that Winter is my favourite time of year for beach photoshoots. My clients may not agree 🥶😅 but I just find the whole experience so beautiful.
